Dr. Tara Emerick's path to orthodontics began with her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, advancing to a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology. Her dedication led her to Indiana University School of Dentistry, followed by an esteemed orthodontic residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Completing her residency, Dr. Emerick earned a Certificate in Orthodontics and a second Master’s Degree in Oral Sciences. Her research, particularly on orthodontic root resorption, has been published and recognized within the orthodontic community. Clear aligners are at their most efficient when correcting many of the most common orthodontic issues. For some complex cases, clear aligners may not be a good option.
